Big Barda is a character created by Jack Kirby and Vince Coletta. She used to be one of the Female Furies on Apokolips until she rebelled and came down to Earth, deciding to use her muscular body, her superhuman strength and her impressive fighting skills to fight crime and the forces of evil. She is married to Mister Miracle.
