The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are four brother turtles who were exposed to the chemical known as Mutagen when they were babies. The Mutagen mutated them into anthropomorphic intelligent beings. They were adopted by Splinter, a rat that was also mutated by the Mutagen. Splinter trained them in the ways of ninjitsu in order to protect the innocent and defeat the forces of evil. While they like to make snarky one-liners, they are also brave and strong fighters. They best friends are April O'Neil and Casey Jones.
