Spike the Bulldog is a character from Tom and Jerry. He varies between being an ally or an enemy of Tom and Jerry, sometimes being an ally to one, other times to the other, and other times being an enemy to none. Most of the time, he just wants to do his job and/or being left alone, so he rarely antagonizes Tom and Jerry directly. He is gruff and irascible, but can be kind and gentle when the occasion calls for it. He is incredibly strong. In the latest movie, Tom and Jerry and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, he worked as a truck delivery dog carrying Wonka bars.
