The Goonies are a group of kids who, after a corrupt corporate executive decides to bulldoze their neighborhood in order to build a golf course and a nuclear plant, embark on an adventure to retrieve the lost treasure of the famed pirate One-Eyed Willie in order to use it to buy the neighborhood back and thus save it. However, the mobster family known as the Fratellis are chasing them. In the end, the Goonies manage to defeat the Fratellis using their intelligence and bravery, and they find One-Eyed Willie's treasure, saving their neighborhood.
