The Mask is Stanley Ipkiss, who found a strange mask in the river of Edge City. This mask turned out to be the Mask of Loki, an ancient object taken from Odin's trophy room in Asgard on which Loki transferred his power. Thus, whenever Stanley puts on the Mask of Loki, he becomes the Mask, a wild, wacky and goofy superhero with the power to warp reality at will. His powers are weak when loved ones are near, which makes him unstoppable when nobody’s there helping him. His enemies include Dorian Tyrell, Doctor Pretorius and Walter .
